Club Focus:

The club is structured into 4 main focus areas, with the intent to give everyone the opportunity to get involved in a a fair and even manner;

1. Subbies Program – Offering children aged between 4-6 to come down and get int he routine of playing sport in a team environment.  To help in this transition we ask that parent become involved as well, with the program centred parents teaching their children based on the instructions of the coach.  A great way to interact and get involved in your childs activities and the club.

2. Juniors – Boys and Girls who will have turned 6yrs and have not yet turned 10 years by the 30 June. This group is focused on introducing to team sports with a social atmosphere.  Focusing on active, fair participation for everyone no matter their skill level.

Team s are selected based on the school they go to, so friends can play with friends.  However, requests will be considered if players dont want to on a different team.  The committee do reserve the right to change the teams based on talent and fairplay.

3. Seniors – Boys and Girls who will have turned 10yrs and have not yet turned 13 years by the 30 June. Similar to the junior group, it is focused on introducing to team sports with a social atmosphere.  Focusing on active, fair participation for everyone no matter their skill level.  A higher degree of understanding is develop in game play, sportsmanship and team involvement.

4.  State Level – This is for all age groups and is available for anyone who wants to get involved in a competitive atmosphere that is focussed on fair play, active involvement and developing the right attitude.  This group requires a level of commitment and skill in which teams are selected from tryouts.  Once selected coaches quickly enhance players skill level and understanding of the game ready for the March long weekend competitions held by TBAWA.

Played for another club? Yes, we do transfer game counts from other clubs. Please contact our registrar at registrar@forrestfieldflyer.org.au so we can follow this up on your behalf.

Code of Conduct

For the safety, fairness and enjoyment of all associated with Flyers Teeball Club we adhere to a Club Code of Conduct. This is to be signed by both the players and team members at the time of registration.

Parent Involvement

We are a family orientated club and encourage our parents to be involved. Parents, coaches and committee working together contributes to the successful running of the club. We ask parents to assist with coaching, umpiring, scoring, base coaching and canteen. You do not require qualifications for any of these positions however the club will provide support in teaching you. As with any junior sport, children get a buzz when Dad or Mum help out.

This however, does exclude the clubrooms, change rooms, toilets and the veranda area surrounding the clubrooms.
